For the Kids Banner

This image was an early example of my Adobe Photoshop skills during this class. I used three seperate images in order to create the final product. First, I cropped the background image to the point that is displayed above. I then removed the baby head and kids holding hands from their parent images and placed them over the background seen. I used a gradient tool to give the baby head a gradual fade. Using the font tool I then created the slogan "For the Kids" and gave it an arc.
For the Kids Icon

Starting with my banner image I cropped the picture down to just the 3 kids. I then resized the image to the 100x100 pixels using the same process as the banner. After that I used the quick selection tool with a 1pt brush on the left toolbar to outline the kids. I then deleted the background so it was only the kids left. Then I went to “Image >> Mode >> Indexed Colors >> Click Yes on prompt to merge layers. In the box I clicked the box for transparency so that it was checked and set the number of colors to 4 (transparency counts as a color). Under Dither I also selected Diffusion to get the patterns I have and under Forced I chose Black and White. After that I saved the picture as a .png and uploaded it to the internet using Imgur.com.
Somewhere on a Beach

This picture was the product of merging two pictures. I cropped the picture of my friend and I out of one and inserted us into the other. I then used the brush and eyedrop tool to touch up parts of our bodies that were distroted while cropping.
